Coming Back From Injury

In my past years of dancing, I've been injured quite a lot. I've learned so much about my body and looking after it when I'm injured. Here are my quick three tips on coming back from an injury.
1. Ease Back Into It
Don't go hard at your first dance lesson back, slowly ease back into the routine and getting your body ready for dance again after it's break.
2. Let Your teacher Know You're Taking It Easy
This way, they understand if you suddenly need to take a break.
3. If You're Hurting, Stop
Listening to your body is really important. Sit out if you're in pain! You'll only make it worse if you don't. (Trust me, I've done it before - it doesn't make you feel any better!)
